I’ve done a little work on the site in the last week or so, after a long period of relative inactivity. This is primarily around making joining the club more visible and easy to do. So the Store is now visible in the Join menu, allowing people to register on the site whilst going through the process of paying for membership. This process also automatically gives new members access to the members area once they have paid.

We have also created a presence on Facebook for the club. This is drawing interest, and I have added a feed from Facebook to the home page to increase visibility.

Also on the home page, I have added a bar which allows people to bookmark this on various social networking sites very easily.  This also has an RSS feed icon, allowing both members and non-members to get a information on what is happening on the site and in the club in their favourite feed reader.
