Well inspired a little by the new theme, and some support from Ernst Peter, (the Events module team lead), I thought now was a good time for a fresh look to the club web site. 

What did it take to create this theme? Some time and patience. CSS and HTML not being a core skill of mine meant a whole lot of trial an error. But with the basis of another theme to go on I was able to turn this , into this , and with the aid of this , into this . All with the aid of layering in Adobe Photoshop.

You may wonder why I've bothered with the update. Well, I first took on the site in 2004, with a really radical change from the previous version of the site, which was non-dynamic and bland. Then I updated to something similar to screenshot one in 2005, which improved the readability. During 2006/7 I've kept tweaking it, to improve it (I hope) and add the icons at top right of the screen. I felt it was now time in 2008 for a radical change, and this is it....
