Hello All,
The April edition of the newsletter (a little late I know)
Diving
The Dive Experience programme
The Experience Dive programme is now under way with the first dive completed on March 31st and a boat Experience Dive planned for April 29th. Excellent feedback so far! As we move forward, all new members will be offered this programme to help the transition from newly qualified diver to UK sea diving. If you are an experienced diver and think you could help run these dives, please contact the chairman for more information.
April
Dives completed in April Poole and Swanage
I dived Swanage on the Saturday – never dived in such limited viz and darkness! Less than 1m! Due, I’m told, to increased plankton bloom due to the unusual weather. Hopefully things will improve! – Nigel Stephenson

An excellent evening. Monty is obviously well versed in after dinning speaking and gave a very entertaining and informative talk on the making of the TV series ‘Great Ocean Adventures’ and cast light on what goes on behind scenes.

Club
PAYMENT FOR CLUB ACTIVITIES: We politely ask that payments for club activities, dives etc are NOT left at the Dive Centre. Payments should be handed or posted to the dive (or event) organiser or you may use the online paying facility on the web site. We appreciate your cooperation.
We would also like to remind everybody that to reserve a place you must pay a £10/day deposit (unless otherwise stated) at time of booking and the full balance 1 calendar month before the dive. Failure to do so will mean your place could be passed to someone on the reserve list. Sorry to be strict about this but it important so that we can be fair to all members, especially on popular dives.
Next meeting
The next club night is Monday 14th May at the Black Boy.
not on the 1st Monday this is to avoid clashing with the very popular Babacombe diving weekend and Bank holiday.
