Here's your 2 minute update of the latest news and events from The Diving Club.
Next meeting: Wed Feb 2nd, 8:30pm at the Maiden Over. Photo Competition!
Come on all - the photo competition has always been a blast BUT WE NEED YOUR PHOTOs for it to work! Please send you entries in to Morag at social@thedivingclub.co.uk and we will all vote for the winners on the night. Lots of categories to enter, awards for the winners and you don't have to be God's gift to underwater (or over water) photography! See the social calendar for more details and make sure you come along to vote even if you haven't entered.

Club Rebrand:
We are making good progress with the rebranding of the club. We should be launching the new website during February if all goes well - look out for it!
Update from DiveStyle
Look out for the DiveStyle feature in SportDiver, the official PADI magazine for divers. DiveStyle will also be running some features over the comming year to allow you to have your say and appear in the magazine: Instructors and dive-masters will have the opportunity to say the ‘why I became an instructor’ anthere will be a 'Diver of the Month' where any diver that has recently completed a course can enter.
Plans to move the shop to the new location are progressing - stay tuned for the announcement of the moving date.
DiveStyle have an offer on drysuits at the moment for those interested in getting their first drysuit. Buy an Oceanic Drysuit and get a free drysuit speciality course.
And Finally:
If you are diving over the winter, why not let people know using the discussion forum on the website? The forum is a great way to log details of potential dives, find buddies etc. You can also use the forum for non-diving topics, such as ideas for club nights, social events, ask about kit and so on. You'll need to log in and select the 'Members' tab.
