2010 AGM

Nominations for election to the Committee are now open. Nominations for all positions are welcome, in particular for Orientation Dive Organiser, Club Dive Organiser and Social Secretary, where the current holders are not standing for re-election.

This is your opportunity to help to shape the future of The Diving Club. If you would like further information about any of the Commitee posts, please contact the current commitee member.

Process

• Nominations must be proposed and seconded by Club members.
• Nomination must be made in writing/email to the Club Secretary not less than 14 days prior to AGM: by 22 September 2010 to secretary@thedivingclub.co.uk
• Anyone seeking election shall have been a Club member for at least 6 months; minimum 12 months for post of Chairman.
• Club members will be advised of the nomination list 7 days before the AGM.
• Voting will take place at the AGM.
• In addition please send AGM agenda items to the Club Secretary by 22 September 2010.

   

Discussion may take place on items not appearing on the agenda but no business other than that concerned with items on the agenda shall be transacted.
